Our Mission

Home improvement projects fail — or cost far more than they should — when the wrong tool ends up in the wrong hands. We started SpruceRank because the internet is full of review sites that copy spec sheets, publish affiliate roundups without ever touching the products, and rank items based on commission rates rather than real-world performance.

We do it differently. Every product we recommend has been physically tested by at least one member of our editorial team, under conditions that reflect how real homeowners and contractors actually use tools. We don't accept free products in exchange for positive reviews, and we don't let advertisers influence our rankings.

Our revenue comes from Amazon affiliate commissions — we earn a small percentage when you buy through our links. This funds the testing and keeps the site free for readers. It does not affect which products we recommend.
