Can I use metalworking files on my fingernails?

Always brush files clean after use with the included steel brush. Store in a dry case, not loose in a toolbox. Apply a light coat of oil to carbon steel files in humid environments. Never store files touching each other—this damages teeth. For diamond files, ultrasonic cleaning removes embedded particles. Replace files when teeth feel smooth or rounded.
What grit file do I need for sharpening lawn mower blades?
Use a coarse carbon steel file (double-cut) for initial edge restoration, then finish with a single-cut medium file. Avoid diamond files unless the blade is hardened beyond HRC 45.
