Can I leave resin planters outside in winter?
Quality resin with UV inhibitors and frost-proof construction survives winter. Empty soil to prevent freeze-thaw cracking. The Veradek and Keter models we tested showed no damage after exposure to freezing temperatures.
What's the difference between resin and plastic?
Resin is a higher-grade polymer with UV stabilizers, impact modifiers, and often recycled content. It resists fading, cracking, and becoming brittle far longer than standard plastic. Resin planters typically cost more but last 5-10 years longer.
