Can reel mowers cut tall or overgrown grass?
Reel mowers perform poorly on grass over 4 inches tall and can jam or skip. They're designed for frequent mowing every 3-5 days, cutting no more than 1/3 of grass blade height. For overgrown lawns, use a rotary mower first, then maintain with a reel.
What's the difference between 4, 5, and 7 blade reels?
