What's the difference between titanium and cobalt drill bits?
Titanium bits have a coating that reduces friction and increases hardness. Cobalt bits contain cobalt alloy throughout the steel, maintaining hardness at extreme temperatures. Use titanium for general purpose and cobalt for stainless steel or hardened metal.
How do I know when my titanium drill bits need replacing?

Can I use titanium drill bits in an impact driver?
