Is IP65 waterproof enough for outdoor use?
IP65 withstands rain and dust but not pressure washing or standing water. For construction sites exposed to mud, heavy rain, or cleaning, invest in IP66. We found IP65 lights failed after three months of daily outdoor use in wet conditions.
Can I leave tripod work lights outside overnight?
Only lights with IP66 rating and sealed connections should stay outside unattended. Even then, retract the tripod and cover the unit to prevent UV damage and theft. Battery models must be brought inside to charge and protect cells from freezing.
What's the ideal tripod height for work lights?

How do I prevent tripod work lights from tipping in wind?
